The current assessment, updated on 16 September 2026.

New: the mathematics checked again

The core theorem and four symmetry theorems pass in Lean again. The site now includes their proofs, probability examples and derivations of χ=24 and a₄=4/15. The check also found an error in the old spectrum matrix and a factor two in a coupling calculation.

Four labels

Starting point

A definition or philosophical assumption, such as the zero point as undifferentiated ground.

Conditional derivation

A conclusion established within explicitly stated assumptions. For example, the exponential theorem.

Open

A necessary step for which this site does not yet provide adequate justification.

Historical / revised

An earlier claim no longer presented as a current conclusion. Its previous text remains visible.

What remains

Robin Genis's philosophical core remains: the Effortless Effect, the zero point as everything and nothing at once, and deliberate self-application. The exponential weighting rule remains as a conditional mathematical theorem, with its domain corrected and assumptions made explicit.

What has been corrected

What is no longer presented as proved

The necessary selection of K3 and the standard model from the meta-law; universal exact bit prices; a complete Born derivation from the meta-law alone; and general confirmation of the theory by the old predictions list. These are different assessments: some earlier statements are wrong, others are too broad or have not been independently reproduced.

What is still needed

A formal relation between the zero point and configurations; a defensible resistance and reference measure; a normalisability check; a model of self-application; reproducible physical applications; comparison with alternatives. For the α route also: a third contribution, derived from the action, that fixes size and coupling together, with independently derived coefficients; the exact pre-test and the four criteria are in the route to α.

General confidence scores have been removed. A number such as 9/10 cannot replace a proof or test result. This revision is not peer review or a new reproduction of all earlier calculations either.

The research aim · α & K3

Can the Effortless Effect support a derivation of the fine-structure constant through a justified K3 geometry with χ=24? A free parameter is an open question, not proof that an answer is impossible.
