From partial explanations to one consistent whole.

EEML as a unifying principle Starting point

EEML asks why different explanations can jointly describe one consistent reality. “Glue” names that connecting question: what must agree between the parts? Least resistance remains a possible comparison rule within an explicit model.

Possibilities, weight and consistency Model input

Possibility

What does the chosen model allow? This concerns its domain.

Weight

How are admissible realisations weighted relative to one another? Lower costs can mean greater weight without excluding other possibilities.

Consistency

Can the chosen parts hold together in one realisation? A large weight cannot repair a contradiction.

Four core rules with distinct roles Starting point

  1. Starting point Possibilities and ground. “Everything exists” is the philosophical proposal that all consistent possibilities belong to the whole. The zero point is full of possibilities, empty of separate determination. Absolute nothingness is not an independent ground within this proposal.

  2. Model input Comparison and composition. An application chooses configurations, cost S, measure and composition. Independent costs add and relative weights multiply. Coupled parts do not automatically satisfy these rules.

  3. Starting point Joint consistency. Partial explanations must fit into one joint description under their stated conditions. Individually possible does not mean jointly possible. This criterion also applies to EEML itself.

  4. Research protocol Consistent redescription. Specify which observables must be preserved. Remove hidden variables through marginalisation or a justified reduction and retain their relevant effects. Then test against the full model and against data.

This working structure replaces the presentation of 25 equally established laws. It is a research proposal, not a newly proved axiom system.

From glue to testing Research protocol

Start from established partial explanations. Determine what is jointly necessary, what remains free and which combinations are impossible. Retrodictions test whether known results follow without being hidden in the inputs after the fact.

K3 is one research route Open

K3 is an existing geometric realisation with χ=24. It need not be the unique or most efficient realisation. The Kummer construction T⁴ → T⁴/ℤ₂ → K3 and string dualities help investigate relationships between descriptions. Deriving α remains open.

The 16 September verification remains available, including the spectrum and normalisation errors found. Established mathematics is not experimental confirmation of EEML. This version makes the new research questions explicit.
